Richard Dorazio

79, of Warwick, passed away on February 18, 2022. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Salvatore) Dorazio.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Louise (DiDonato) Dorazio.

A US Army Veteran, he served during the Vietnam War.  He was a truck driver for Sears and Roebuck Co., was a member of the Teamsters Local 251.

Richard was very charitable and enjoyed donating to the DAV and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Richard loved spending time with his family sharing meals, when not with his family he could be found having fun at the local casinos.

He leaves his three children, Michael J. Dorazio and his wife Sherene, Donna L. Gayer and her husband Eric and Peter J. Bevilacqua; his brother, John Dorazio; seven grandchildren, Vincent Dorazio, Gianna Dorazio, Michael J. Dorazio, Jr., Matthew Bibby, Haley Gayer, Brianna Gayer and Michael P. Bevilacqua; and his niece Dena A. Dorazio. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Cathy Goulin and her husband Dave, brothers-in-law, James Salvator,e Jr. and Joseph Salvatore; his niece Lori Manchester and nephews Jason King, and James Baker.  He was the uncle of the late Frank Baker and brother-in-law of the late Lorraine Baker

His funeral will be held Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 9am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston.  Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS Wednesday from 4-7pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the DAV, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
