Richard F. Creighton

of Saunderstown, passed on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at South County Hospital, Wakefield. He was the beloved soulmate for 25 years to Paula Buonanni. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late James and Elizabeth (Donnelly) Creighton. Richard was a reporter for WDAF in Kansas City, Missouri; and for the past 30 years worked in Liquor Retail here in Rhode Island. He is survived by his dear sister Carol Viola of South Kingstown, his cherished cousin Peggy Smith of South Kingstown and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his dog and  best friend Maci.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11 am in St. Veronica’s Chapel, Boston Neck Rd., Narragansett. Burial will be private. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
