Marco A. DiMezza

78, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday October 16, 2016 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the husband of Martha A. (Aust) DiMezza. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Alfred and Josephine (Ursillo) DiMezza. Marco worked in the construction industry for many years and later he worked with his son Alfred owner of  DiMezza Construction Company for twenty five years until his retirement. He was a Marine Corps veteran.

Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Alfred DiMezza and his wife Susan of Warwick, Michael DiMezza and his wife Elaine of FL, Steven DiMezza and his wife Kerri of Warwick, Anthony DiMezza of Warwick, Lori DiMezza of Warwick, Cheri Avedisian of Warwick, his step-children, Erich Riess and his wife Melissa of Maine, Sonia Gormly and her husband John of Warwick and Heidi Riess of Cranston; fourteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday October 21st at 11 a.m. in St. Rose & Clement Church, 111 Long St. Warwick. Burial with military honors will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.

Visiting hours are Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME &Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions maybe made to:
