60, of Johnston, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023. Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of Louis, Sr. and Carol (Gambuto) Finelli of Johnston. Besides his parents, he is survived by his loving sister Gina M. Finelli-Quinterno of North Providence and was the brother of the late Anthony Finelli. He was a loving uncle to his cherished nieces Giana Quinterno of New York, and Alexa Bowman of Texas.
Louis worked as a dedicated carpenter for the Laborers Union for many years. He attended New England Technical College for his carpentry. As an adrenaline enthusiast, and astronomy lover, he always had a zest for adventure. He loved motorcycles and was avid NASCAR watcher. Louis enjoyed early morning back road drives to work and sharing videos of his work and the wildlife with his family. Blessed with greatest friends, he laughed often and cherished many moments with his family. For anyone who knew “Louie”, knew his huge, loving heart and big smile.
VISITING HOURS will be held on Friday morning from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
