Linda A. (Conforti) Munroe

71, of Cranston, passed away at home on Sunday, October 6, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles A. Munroe. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Caroline (Magnone) Conforti.

Linda was a teacher for Cranston Public Schools for 32 years before retiring. Linda had been working as a Sales Department Assistant for Ramtel Corporation for the past 12 years. She was very passionate about oil painting and enjoyed sewing. She also served as the Vice President of the RI Scerloderma Support Group.

She is survived by her loving children, Dawn Munroe of West Warwick, and Lorraine French and her husband Albert of Cranston; cherished grandchildren, Derek and Zachary French, Erin Florio and great-granddaughter Emma Florio; dear sisters, Anna Bastardi and her husband Matthew, and Eleanor Kelley and her late husband Fred; loving nephews Joseph and Matthew Bastardi.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday at 8:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston. Words of remembrance will be read before Mass at 9:45 am. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
