Kathleen (DiBona) Donato
74, of Johnston, passed away on September 25, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Basil Donato.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giacomo and Philomena ( Tedesco) DiBona.  Kathleen was the former owner and operator of The Cookie Lady in Johnston for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by her stepson Anthony Donato and his wife Maureen of Massachusetts, her cherished granddaughters: Nicole and Julie , and was also the dear sister of : Louise DiBona and John DiBona.
Kathleen was predeceased by her siblings: Marie Gentle, Evelyn Wynn-Montuori and Anthony and Cynthia DiBona.
Her visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 9-10am in the Nardolillo Funeral Home 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston.  Burial will take place in St. Basil’s Cemetery, 125 Curran Rd. , Cumberland.
