Emily D. (Rini) Palazzo

91, of North Providence, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late George Palazzo. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (Marino) Rini. Emily was a hairdresser and owner of Emily’s Hairdressing Studio for many years until her retirement.

She is survived by her loving children, Deborah A. Palazzo, and Geraldine M. Palazzo, both of North Providence. She was the cherished grandmother of Jason J. Palazzo and the great-grandmother of Breanna and Victoria Palazzo. Emily was the sister of Marie Martini, Ronald Rini, Joseph Rini, and the late Dorothy Laurenzo, Jean Rini, and John Rini.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 12:00 noon in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be private.
