David B. Murray

of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday September 26, 2017 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the loving husband of Janice (Pontarelli) Murray. Born in Providence, he was the son of Helen (Greenhalgh) Murray of Cranston and the late Edward Murray, Retired CFD.

David was a waiter at Twin Oaks Restaurant of Cranston for 42 years, retiring due to illness. He loved playing cards and golfing was his passion.

Besides his wife and mother he was the step-father of Jamie Gallagher of Waltham, MA and Ryan Gallagher of Cranston; brother of Michael T. Murray of Middletown, and Timothy E. Murray of Boston, MA and uncle of Ryan, Brandon, Cameron, and Devin Murray all of Warwick.

It has been said that “there’s the right way, the wrong way, and David’s way,” and he lived according to David’s way. David had a big heart, he deeply loved his family and friends, and he enjoyed his life to the fullest.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Saturday Morning at 10 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston .Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Johnston.

Visiting Hours are Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
