Corrine Marie (Barbato) Penza

Corrine Marie Penza was a caring wife, mother, aunt, sister, and friend. She passed away on March 10, 2022 at age 85 in her home state, Rhode Island. Corrine was born to the late Joseph and Della (Ammiano) Barbato on March 30, 1936. She spent her life in Rhode Island, where she married the late Ovidio “Ray” Penza. Ray and Corrine had one child, their late daughter Lorraine Lucas.
Despite the losses that Corrine experienced in her life, she was a thoughtful, sentimental, and loving individual. She loved food and family including her siblings Adele Blackman and the late Vincent, Joseph, Robert, and Donald Barbato. She leaves behind many family members who will miss her.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 15th at 9:00am at the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory at 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Rocco’s Church in Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Francis Cemetery in Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, please consider sending a donation to St. Rocco’s Church (churchofsaintrocco.org).
