Cheryl Ann (Laforge) Rambone

72, of Johnston, passed peacefully on Friday, surrounded by her husband and loving family. Mrs. Rambone was born in Fall River and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Dorothea (Buffington) Laforge of Warren, RI.  She is the sister of Audrey Laforge of North Kingstown, and the late, Hope Simone of Johnston. She was employed as a bookkeeper for over 20 years and helped her husband build a successful family business.

Besides her devoted husband of 53 years, John Rambone she is survived by two loving sons, John Jr. and his wife Mary Jane Rambone of Scituate and Tim and Susan Rambone of Foster and six adoring grandchildren: Jenna, John, Antonio, Timothy, Isabella and Jack who were the light and pride of her life.  Her disability did not prevent her from growing a magnificent garden, being independent, enjoying her grandchildren's sporting events or shopping. She was an excellent cook who loved picking her own bountiful produce from her backyard to use in her many delicious dishes that she would happily share with visitors to her happy home.

She will be remembered as a matriarch to those who were close to her and cherished for her kind heart and beauty, both inside and out. Her generous and enduring spirit will burn bright in all the many family and friends that she has made an everlasting impact on.
