ANTHONY B. MANCINI, 87, of Park Ave., Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at The Village at Waterman Lake in Greenville.  He was the beloved husband of Carol A. (Bastianelli) Mancini.  Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Benny and Nancy (Guglietta) Mancini.

Anthony was the founding owner of Continental Bait & Tackle in Cranston celebrating its 50th anniversary this year; and was a U.S. Army veteran.

Besides his wife Carol, he was the father of Craig A. Mancini (Charlene) and the late Keith A. Mancini; stepfather of Gina M. Rocchio (Robert), John M. Parillo and Kevin J. Parillo (Joanne) all of Cranston; brother of Vincent Mancini of South Kingstown, Lucy Ciccarelli of Cranston, Anne Hunter of Marlborough, MA and the late Frank Mancini. He was the cherished grandfather of Albert and Elyssa Renzi, Dimitri and Rachael Mancini, Nicholas, Steven and Nicole Rocchio and Jamie and Emily Parillo, and loving great-grandfather of Layla Grace Rocchio.

His funeral will be held on Thursday, June 29th at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m.  Burial with military honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
