Angelo Paone

89, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday August 30, 2016 at RI Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Jeanette (DiScuillo) Paone. They would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Sept. 3.  Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Earasmo and Francine (Nardella) Paone. Angelo was a production manager for Carlton Manufacturing for many years, then for the Pat Maguiver Company from where he retired. He was a US Navy Veteran serving in the Sea Bees during World War II. Angelo was a pilot and loved flying his own personal plane. He was also an avid Red Sox and New England Patriot fan.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his dear siblings, Frank Paone of Cranston, Ann McGrath of South Carolina, and the late Benny Paone, Mary Neri, Tony Paone and Dottie Martin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 10 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial with military honors, will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Thursday from 5 – 7 pm.
