ZOE (VICAN) PAPPAS

Of Cranston, passed away on Monday August 16, 2010 at RI Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Marcos J. Pappas. Zoe was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Andrew and Helen (Christara) Vican. Zoe was employed in the Admissions Office of Rhode Island Hospital. She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Past President of the Daughters of Penelope and active member of the Good Samaritans. She is survived by her loving son, John M. Pappas of FL, her sisters, Olga Mihailides of Barrington and Dora Pounaras of Cranston. She was also the loving mother of the late Andrea Pappas, and sister of the late Stella Vican and George Vican. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Thursday at 10 am in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Oaklawn Ave. Cranston. Burial will take place in North Burial Ground, North Main St., Providence. Visiting hours will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday 5-8 pm.
