ZACHARY R. SMITH

19, of Rutland St., Cranston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Providence, he was the loving and adored son of Kenneth A. and Heather J. (Porter) Smith of Cranston.

Zachary was a student at Meeting Street School for the past 16 years. He loved NASCAR, camping, music and spending time with his family and friends.

Besides his parents, Zachary was the grandson of Nancy and Frederick Porter and Beverly and Garry Smith all of Cranston; great-grandson of Norman Watson of Warwick and Eugene and Beatrice Smith of Cranston; and nephew of Christopher Porter and Holly and Peter Palermo all of Warwick. He is also survived by several great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.

Funeral Service to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by interment at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are THURSDAY from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
