WINIFRED "WINNIE" RUSSO RONDINA
Winifred "Winnie" (McGarry) Rondina Russo, of Bonita Springs, FL, formerly of Cranston, died Monday, October 22, 2007 at Joanne's House at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs. She was the beloved wife of Anthony "Tony" Russo, and the late Lawrence P. Rondina, Jr.
Born in Manchester, England, the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Winifred E. (Dutton) McGarry, she came to the U.S. in 1964 settling in North Providence, moving to Cranston in 1997, and to Bonita Springs in 2004.
Winnie worked at RI Blood Center in Providence as a telephone recruiter, and later for Account Recovery Services in Providence as an account coordinator before retiring in 2003. Besides her husband, she was the devoted mother of Mark J. Rondina of North Providence, and loving grandmother of three.
Her funeral and burial will be private.
