89, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 21, 2013, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary (Iacobucci) Pistocco. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late William Pistocco, Sr. and Susie (DiMeo) Pistocco. Mr. Pistocco was employed by the Almon family at The Claflin Company in Warwick for many years until his retirement. He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. Bill was an US Navy veteran serving during WW II. He was a member of the Sampson WW II Veterans, and a life member of Tri-City Elks #14. He is survived his loving daughter Deborah A. Coppotelli and her husband William of Cranston, his cherished grandson, Gregory D. Coppotelli of Cranston, his dear brother Louis F. Pistocco of North Attleboro; and was the devoted brother in-law of Mary Pistocco of North Attleboro, Celia Iacobucci of Charlestown, Latterina Iacobucci of Warwick, Ann Iacobucci of East Greenwich and Attilio Iacobucci of Warwick. Bill was also the uncle of several nieces and nephews; and brother of the late Raymond Pistocco. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston. Interment with military honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
