William K. "Bill" Parrillo, 67, of George Allen Rd, Glocester, died Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT. He was the beloved husband for 43 years of Joyce C. (Paesano) Parrillo.
Born in Providence, the devoted son of Anthony and Georgina "Beatrice" (Jones) Parrillo of Smithfield, he lived in Johnston before moving to Glocester in 1997.
Mr. Parrillo was a butcher and co-owner of the former Parrillo's Meat Market in Johnston for over 30 years, and later worked for Edward's Supermarket and Ro-Jacks Supermarket.
He served in the Army National Guard, and was a member of UFCW Local 328.
Besides his wife and parents, he was the loving father of Dana L. Santagata and her husband Tom of Cranston and William K. Parrillo, Jr. and his wife Kara of Warwick; loving grandfather of Nicholas L. Parrillo; dear brother of Dr. Alfred C. Parrillo of Burrillville and Dr. Douglas W. Parrillo of Philadelphia, PA; dear son-in-law of Victoria Paesano of Providence and dear brother-in-law of Robert and Dolores Paesano of Cranston.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's Church, Danielson Pike, Foster and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday 4-8 p.m.
Burial will be private.
