William C. Palumbo

67, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Golden Crest Nursing Centre in North Providence.  Born in Providence, he was a son of the late William A. and Edna A. (Pantano) Palumbo.

William worked at Urschel Tool in Providence, RI for over 25 years. He did various small jobs until retiring in 2015. After retiring, William helped out the community, volunteering at the Cranston Senior Services Center. He loved to walk around his community, meet new people and always had a story to tell. William had a passion for antique cars and would attend any car show he could find. He was an avid fan of The Beatles. He knew everything about their music and could recite any song word for word.  William was also a history enthusiast. He loved to read books and watch videos about historical events. He made friends everywhere he went and was loved by many.

He is survived by his loving children, Kelly A. Palumbo and Fiancé Ash Williams of Fall River, MA, William C. Palumbo Jr. of Worcester, MA, and Anthony J. Palumbo and his wife Angela of Brunswick, Ohio.  William was the cherished grandfather of Jason A Larkin, Anthony Palumbo Jr, Nora Palumbo, and Frankie Palumbo.  He was the dear brother of Jacqueline Carosi.

Mr. Palumbo’s funeral services will be private.
