William J. Marandola

80, of North Providence, passed away on June 9, 2024 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late William and Louise (Mollo) Marandola. 

William worked as a produce manager for Almac’s and then later at Stop & Shop before retiring. He was a founding member of the basketball league at Evans Field in North Providence. William also volunteered for the Franciscan Missionaries and at Roger Williams Hospital. 

He is survived by his loving siblings, Joyce Sciotto (Frank) of Johnston, Cheryl Laferriere (David) of Foster, and Roger Marandola (Lois) of Johnston. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. 

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday, June 17, 2024 at 10:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Augustine Church, Providence. Inurnment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Monday morning from 9:00 – 10:00am.
