William D. Kearney

71, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at RI Hospital, Providence. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late David and Anna (Kucavicus) Kearney. William was a welder for Cranston Welding & Supply Co. for 40 years before retiring. He enjoyed working on his cars and welding, driving his 1965 Corvette, and his Harley Davidson. He was an avid tennis fan and loved animals. William was known for treating everyone with kindness.

William is survived by his loving daughter Melissa Stiles and her husband Brian of Chepachet. He was the cherished grandfather of Katelyn and Sophia Stiles. He was the brother of Michael Kearney of North Kingstown, Patricia Young of AZ, Linda David of ME, and Colleen Kearney of AZ. He is also predeceased by his stepmother Elizabeth Kearney.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 14th, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. His Funeral Home Service will take place on Wednesday, June 15th, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
