of Seven Mile Rd., Hope, RI, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of the late William J. and Tina M. (DiPompo) Capuano.
William was an educator for the State of RI Dept. of Corrections for 30 years. He was a graduate of The Ohio State University where he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity and received his masters from Eastern Michigan University.
William lived a life of adventure. He was a talented wood craftsman, loved riding his motorcycle, quahoging and traveling the wide-open road with his family and friends.
William was the devoted father of Nicole R. Stephens (Daniel) of Martins Ferry, OH and Amanda M. Capuano (Brian) of Claysville. PA; cherished grandfather of Olivia and Wyatt Stephens; dear brother of David Capuano (Gina) of Coventry and Kathryn Rehak (Gary) of Johnston; loving companion Joyce L. Beagan of Coventry and her daughter Brenda Boyce of SC; loving nephew of Nicholas DiPompo of Warwick and Mary Lobosco of West Roxbury, MA and adored uncle of Vinny and Audra Vadnais, David Capuano and Nicholas Rehak.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, November 18th at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUENRAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
