79, died peacefully on Monday, September 13, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Amalia (D'Alfonso) Iannucci, his wife for 57 years.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Hugo Sr. and Nella (Bastia) Iannucci.
He was a partner with Eagle Tool Co., Providence for over 50 years, where he headed the tooling and design department; leading the charge to automate the jewelry findings industry.
Bill, with his usual smile, was always ready to help. He had an endless spirit of curiosity and was incredibly generous with his time to help family, friends, and even strangers with any project, repair or task that needed to be done. Bill was always eager for a challenge and thrived on learning. He was gifted, self taught Jack-of-All-Trades, MASTER OF ALL.
Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children; Diane Richards and her husband Brian, Susan Cesaro and her husband Thomas, William Iannucci, Paul Iannucci and his wife Judith. Bill was the brother of Frank Iannucci, Etta Iannone and the late Hugo Iannucci Jr.
His greatest happiness came from his 13 grandchildren; Stacy, her husband Aaron, Christian, Michael, Lauren, Zachary, Alexander, Danielle, Mackenzie, Daniel, Matthew, Julia, Jaclyn, and Steven. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and in-laws.
His funeral will be held on Saturday at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Ave., Cranston at 10am.
Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Friday 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hope Center, 25 Brayton Ave., Cranston, RI 02920 or to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
