WILLIAM E. MC DONALD

William E. McDonald 62, of Meadow View Drive, Cranston, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Carol (Babbidge) McDonald. They were married for four years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late George and Marguerite ( Murray) McDonald. Mr. McDonald was supervisor electrician for the State of RI, DEM for twenty-two years. He was a member of the BPOE, West Warwick, the East Greenwich Fireman's Association and a former member of the IBEW. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Carl O'Neill of Cranston, Keith O'Neill of Narragansett and Kevin O'Neill of Cranston and Marible Xavier of Cranston. He was the grandfather of seven. William was the brother of Janice Amaral of East Providence, Daniel McDonald of Cranston and the late George F. McDonald, Jr. Esq. He was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his VISITING HOURS on Sunday 6-9 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. His funeral service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of RI, 260 West Exchange Street, Suite 1023, Providence, RI 02903.
