WILLIAM F. CATALDO

56, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 3, 2010 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Linda A. (Maglioli) Cataldo. They were married for thirty-one years. Born in North Kingstown, he was the loving son of Frank and Marion (Lincourt) Cataldo of Cranston. William was a self employed general contractor for many years. His passions were camping, fishing, bike riding, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Besides his wife he is survived by his cherished children, Jennifer A. Soares and her husband Carlos, his twin daughters Amy A. Cataldo and Michelle L. Cataldo, and John D. Cataldo, all of Cranston. William was the dear grandfather of Nathan and Stephanie Soares. He was the brother of Linda DeRobbio of Cranston and the late Mary Louise Kidd. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in The Church of the Ascension, 390 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be private.
