WALTER B ANDREWS, SR.

82, of Devonshire Street, Providence, formerly of East Greenwich, died on Friday December 14, 2007 at the Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. He was the husband of the late Ethel (Rich) Andrews. Born in Providence he was a son of the late Clarence R. and Lucy (Boss) Andrews. Mr. Andrews was a supervisor for B.I.F. Industries formerly of East Greenwich for 30 years prior to his retirement. He was a Navy Veteran of WW-2. Walter was a life member of the North Scituate Fire Department working the rescue achieving the rank of Captian. He was a member of the American Legion Post# 15 of East Greenwich He is survived by three daughters: Tammy Melone of Cranston, Cheryl Marsh of North Scituate and Patricia Howarth of North Scituate, two sons: James Alexander of Warwick and Walter B. Andrews Jr. of Lincoln. He was also survived by several other step-children. Brother of Donald E. Andrews of Warwick and the late Marian Lewis and David R. Andrews. Grandfather of 44. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services on Tuesday at 10:00am in the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum Johnston and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Avenue Cranston on Monday 5-7pm.
