Vivian F. (Faria) Alves

of Cranston, formerly of Providence, was surrounded by her family as she peacefully entered the gates of Heaven on Sunday September 30, 2007. She was the loving, devoted wife of the late Aurelio J. Alves. Born in Wareham, MA she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Lima) Faria. Mrs. Alves had been employed by the Catholic Diocese of Providence for many years until retiring. She is survived by two sons Anthony and Robert, one daughter Vivian and the late Jacqueline; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was the sister of the late John, Joseph, Henry, Lena, Louise and Charlotte Faria. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery Exeter, RI. Her funeral services will be private. Kindly omit flowers.
