VITO COPPA

90, of Alto St. Cranston died Tuesday February 2, 2010 at the Riverview Nursing Home, Coventry. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Zoglio) Coppa. Born in Ischia, Italy he was the son of the late John and Rosa (Iacono) Coppa. Mr. Coppa was a printer for various companies for 40 years until his retirement. He served in the Army/Air Force during WW-2. He is survived by his son John Coppa and his wife Carolyn of West Warwick, a granddaughter Melissa Rosales, three great granddaughters, three sisters Regina Petrangelo of Warwick, Rose Susi and Mary Coletta both of Johnston, a brother William Coppa of West Warwick. He was the grandfather of the late Michael Coppa and brother of the late Laura Carnevale, Anna, Vincent, Frank, Salvatore and John Coppa. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:30am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew's Church Providence at 10am. Entombment, with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery Mausoleum, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans 1 Capitol Hill Providence, RI 02908.
