80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. She was the wife of Normand Proulx of Warwick. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Maria (Carnevale) Colozzi and resided in Cranston before moving to Warwick. Virginia was a graduate of Bryant College and was employed at Speedway Motors and Elliot Buick for many years until her retirement. She was known for her positive spirit, ability to achieve her dreams, passion of life and love for her family. Besides her husband, she is survived by her nieces, nephews and their children who all loved and adored her. Virginia was the sister of Edward Colozzi of Cranston and the late Antonette DeAngelus, Carmella Zito, Grace Padula, Anna Caranci, Joseph, John, Italo and Carl Colozzi. Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston Street, Cranston at 10:00 a.m. VISITING HOURS: FRIDAY 5:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, 259 West Wretham Road, Cumberland, RI 02864.
