VIRGINIA LEE NODDIN
VIRGINIA LEE (LEE) NODDIN, 75, of West Wind Circle, Osterville, MA, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, succcumbing after a 21/2 years battle wiyh pulmonary hypertension she was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing. She was the wife of Robert L. Noddin.
Born in Cranston, RI she was the daughter of Angela (Vallone) Lee of Cranston and the late Walter R. Lee. She was a 1954 graduate of Brown University.
Mrs. Noddin was a substitute teacher for many years in Wilton, CT. where she resided over 20 years moving to Cape Cod in 1985. She was actively involved in town and community affairs in both Wilton, CT and Osterville, MA.
She was most proud of being a fulltime mother, grandmother and loving wife to her husband of 54 years.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her son, Kevin Noddin of Nantucket, MA; her two daughters, Katherine Wieland of Sturbridge, MA and Mary Ann Noddin-Poulin of Boxborough, MA; her grandchildren Patrick, Christine, Carolyn, Andrew, Gregory, Stephen, Katherine and Brooks; and her sister Elaine Cyrus of Madison, CT.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ann's Church, 1493 Cranston St., Cranston, followed by interment in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
