VIRGINIA (DE PETRILLO) FERRUOLO

87, of Warwick, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Sunny View Nursing Home, Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony F. Ferruolo. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Vincenzo "James" and Maria (Izzi) DePetrillo. Mrs. Ferruolo was the co-owner along with her late husband of Kinney Shoes of Providence for ten years before retiring in 1987. She is survived by her loving children, Stephen C. Ferruolo and his wife Julie Robinson of La Jolla, CA, Denise Champagne and her husband Robert of Warwick with whom she resided, and Susan F. Mooney and her partner Robyn DeCiccio of Warwick. Virginia was the cherished grandmother of Robert A. and Michael J. Champagne, Toni B. and Gianna M. Mooney, and Cristina M. and Stephen A. J. Ferruolo. She was the sister of the late Dr. Raymond J. DePetrillo and Lydia Mari. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Timothy's Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
