VINCENZA O. "ZINA" (PATALANO) RICCI
VINCENZA O. "ZINA" (PATALANO) RICCI, 89, of Covell St., Providence, passed away Friday, May 29, 2009 at Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred J. Ricci. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Francesca (Esposito) Patalano.
Vincenza worked in the jewelry industry for the former Brier Manufacturing Co. in Providence for 34 years before retiring. She was the devoted mother of Alfred J. Ricci, Jr. and his wife Christine of West Warwick; loving grandmother of Stephanie Mikkelsen and her husband Eric of Scituate; loving great-grandmother of Raden Mikkelsen; and dear sister of Mary Grande of North Providence, Fortuna Marotto of Vero Beach, FL, Robert Patalano and Gloria Caparco, both of Providence and the late Nicola Patalano. Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 7:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 901 Atwells Ave., Providence at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
