Vincent A. Zannini 87, of Carlo Court, Cranston, passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Cedar Crest Nursing Center, Cranston. He was the devoted husband of the late Rose (Piccirillo) Zannini. Born in Cranston he was a son of the late Antonio and Mary (Porecca) Zannini. Mr. Zannini was employed in the meat department at Stop & Shop Supermarket for twenty years before retiring in 1980. At St. Bartholomew's Church, he was a former member and Past President of the Holy Name Society, a Eucharistic Minister, Altar Server and Usher. Mr. Zannini was a communicant of Holy Apostles Church. He was the loving father of Mary Corso and her husband David of Cranston, Gloria Monte and her husband Frank of North Carolina and Joseph Zannini and his wife Yvette (Gonyea)of Chapel Hill, NC. He was the grandfather of ten and the great-grandfather of seventeen. Mr. Zannini was the brother of the late James Zannini, Laura DiOrio, Elvira D'Andrea and Anna Bernardo. He was the brother-in-law of Flora Pizzutti, Antonetta Piccirillo, Maria Spaziano, Giovannia Piccirillo and Tina Mattiace. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 5-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Apostles Church Memorial Fund, 800 Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston, RI 02921-3603.
