88, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Yolanda A. (Licciardi) Tagliaferri. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Albert and Teresa (Mizzoni) Tagliaferri. Mr. Tagliaferri was employed by the State of RI Registry, Title Division for twenty years before his retirement. He was also a car salesman for Beecroft Chevrolet, Warwick Ford, Elmwood Dodge, and Martin Auto Sales. He was a communicant of St. Bartholomew's Church and a US Navy veteran serving during WW II. Vincent was a member of the Cranston Senior Center and served on the Advisory Board. He was an avid sports fan. Vincent was a good and decent man who would do anyone a favor.
He is survived by his children, Ronald Tagliaferri, Esq. of Cranston and Anne Marie Tagliaferri of Providence. Vincent is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews, Debra, Donna, and Nicholas Pietrunti, and Anthony and Dawn Pelino, all of Cranston. He was the brother of the late Mary Tagliaferri.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in the Cathedral of Sts. Peter & Paul, Cathedral Square, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
