Vincent T. Izzo, Jr.

Vincent T. Izzo Jr, 65, of Cranston, passed away on Friday March 28, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Karen M. (Hodge) Izzo for 43 wonderful years.

Born in Providence, Vincent was the son of the late Vincent T. Izzo and Bernadette (Leduc) Izzo. He was a graduate of LaSalle Academy and Providence College.

Vincent worked for the Rhode Island State Treasury Department for over 30 years while also running his own public tax accounting business that he had taken over from his father. He was a member and past president of the RI and New England Government Finance Officers Association; former president of the Narragansett Little League; and former member of the Knights of Columbus.

Besides his wife Karen, he is survived by his son Vincent Thomas Izzo III and his wife Sarah Reinstein of North Providence, and his daughter Laura D. Izzo and her partner Chris Cahoon of Warwick; and four grandchildren, Caroline Izzo, Maya Izzo, Dominic Voller, and Aria Voller.

The family would like to thank and acknowledge the staff at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital for the outstanding care and comfort they provided to Vincent during his final months.

Vinny had a big heart and touched many people's lives.

His funeral will be held on Thursday, April 3rd at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
