78, of Cranston passed away peacefully on Monday, July 23, 2012, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of fifty-one years to Linda M. (Ventriglia) Ramieri. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Giovanni B. and Giacinta (Ciardi) Ramieri. Vincent was a foreman for the former Gorham Manufacturing Company before his retirement. He was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War era.
Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, John V. Ramieri and his wife Barbara of Smithfield, Karen M. Ramieri and her husband Ralph Silva of Cranston, Janice A. Lonardo and her husband Paul of Lincoln. Vincent was the cherished grandfather of four grandsons, Joseph V. Ramieri, Paul J. Ramieri, Stephen V. Silva, and Jake V. Lonardo. He was the brother of Anthony Ramieri of Wakefield, Spartico Ramieri of Cranston, Teddy Ramieri of Warwick, Gloria Walsh of Cranston, John Ramieri of Santa Barbara, CA, Bruno Ramieri of Johnston, and the late Paul Ramieri and Viola Turchetta.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, 1 Knight Street, Providence. Interment with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
