VINCENT PARRILLO

88, of Laurie Ann Court, Johnston, passed away Thursday April 21, 2011 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Dorotea (Cianci) Parrillo. He was a WW-II Army Air Corps veteran, where he was a Surgical Technician, serving in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, and Ardennes, receiving a Good Conduct Metal, European, African, Middle Eastern Theater Campaigns Ribbon Air Medal. He was a Civil Service Army Reserve Employee for many years, retiring in 1978.

He was the devoted brother of Angelina Witherspoon of West Warwick, and the late Jean Parrillo and Anna DeTora. Vincent was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Ave. Providence at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Monday 4-7 p.m.
