51, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, and joined his loving mother Alice (Chevian) Mangione. Born in Providence, he was the son of Liborio "Buddy" Mangione, and the co-owner of Statewide Plumbing and Heating Company, a long-established family business. He was a master plumber and master pipefitter for thirty-three years. An avid athlete and handball player, Vincent was a lifetime member of the Providence and Cranston YMCA, and also the former basketball coach and founder of St. Mary's Girls Basketball, as well as the longtime coach for CLCF girls basketball. He loved life and inspired laughter from all who knew him. This sense of humor, and his incredibly kind and open heart, will be missed most. Besides his father he is survived by his loving children, Cerissa A. Mangione, Jaclyn M. Mangione, and Melanie A. Mangione, all of Cranston. He was the cherished grandfather of Avianna G. Dion, and Gabriella A. Gaulin. Vincent was the brother of Philip J. Mangione and his wife Donna of East Greenwich, and Joseph A. Mangione and his wife Patricia of Cranston. He was the uncle of Michael J. Cirelli of Brooklyn, NY and Amber A. Mangione of Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Monday at 10:00am in the First Baptist Church of East Greenwich, 35 Pierce Street, East Greenwich. Interment will be in North Burial Ground, Providence. VISITING HOURS Sunday 4-8p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.
