VINCENT IOZZI

90, of Providence, passed away on Friday July 27, 2012 at Cedar Crest Nursing Home in Cranston. He was the beloved husband of Angelina "Angie" (Rago) Iozzi. Born in Providence he was the son of the late John and Maria (Paglia) Iozzi. He was a U.S. WW II Army Veteran. Vincent was the owner and operator of the Sunoco service station and mini-mart on Broadway in Providence for many years until his retirement. Besides his wife he was the devoted father of Robert A. Iozzi of Johnston; also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. He was the dear brother of the late Michael, Angelo, Frank, Anthony, Joseph, and Domenic Iozzi. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence at 11 am. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Monday from 5 pm to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Re-Focus Inc., 45 Greely St., Providence, RI 02904 or Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence, RI 02914.
