74, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at The Cedars in Cranston. He was the beloved husband of Marline A. (Piner) DiMartino. Born in Providence, Butch was a son of the late Leonard and Eva (Narducci) Colapietro. Butch started his career in demolition as a heavy machine operator alongside his father at Rhode Island Building Wrecking. He was a proud member of the Local 57 International Union of Operating Engineers, before retiring.
Besides his wife, whom he considered the love of his life, Butch is survived by his loving children, Rene Craveiro (Anthony) of West Greenwich, Kathleen Moroso (Michael) Nicholas DiMartino, both of Cranston, and Kimberly Cappelli (Anthony) of FL. He was the cherished grandfather of Jenna Craveiro and M.J. Moroso. Butch was the dear brother of Marie Parrillo and Cynthia Scungio, both of Greenville.
Visiting hours are on Tuesday, November 3rd from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Mass and burial are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Butch’s name, may be made to: Amedisys Foundation, c/o Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence, RI 02914.
