VINCENT J. BELLOMO

89, of Scituate, formerly of Melbourne, FL passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at home. He was the beloved husband for sixty-six years of Ann M. (Torlone) Bellomo. Born in the Bronx, New York, he was a son of the late Paul and Michelle (Buccheri) Bellomo. Mr. Bellomo was a building estimator for the former New York Silicate Company of New York City. He was a US Army veteran serving with distinction during WW II. He was awarded the Bronze Star and served in the Battle of the Bulge. Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Mary Ann Casale and her husband John of Scituate, with whom he resided, Christopher Bellomo of Los Angeles, CA and Frank Bellomo and his wife Ivonne of Orlando, FL. He was the father of the late Paula Bellomo. Vincent was the cherished grandfather of George Simons, Dominick Barresi and Samantha Bellomo, and the great-grandfather of Noah and Emma Simons. Vincent was the brother of Cesario Salemi and Vincenza Salemi both of New York and the late Frank and Joseph Bellomo and Pauline Rogers. His funeral service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept, 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
