VINCENT J. BALASCO

Vincent J.Balasco 88, of Rosemary St., Cranston passed away Friday April 24, 2009 at Briarcliffe Manor, Johnston.
He was the husband of Jennie (Conti) Balasco. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Carmina (Conca)) Balasco. Vincent was a WW-II Army Veteran. He was a self-employed painter for 10 years, and also was a laborer for the City of Cranston. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Vincent Balasco of Cranston and Diane Tomassi of North Providence, his grandchildren, John and David Tomassi of North Providence, Corinne and Doreen Tennett of Cranston, Maureen Pimental of Coventry and Alyssa Balasco of Providence and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Raymond Balasco of Warwick, Anthony Balsasco of Cranston, Nina Bragg of North Providence and the late Armand, Leonard and Anthony Balasco. His funeral will be held on Monday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mark's Church, Garden City, Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting Hours Sunday 4-8 pm.
