VINCENT S. ABBATE

53, of Cranston passed away unexpectedly Wednesday November 23, 2011. Born in Providence he was the son of Frank Abbate of Cranston and the late Janet (Pieranunzi) Abbate. Vincent was previously employed by FM Global of Johnston for over 20 years and served in the US Navy for 4 years. Besides his daughter Kristin Abbate of Cranston his great enjoyments in life were playing softball and fishing. Besides his father and daughter he is survived by two sisters Lori Foley and her husband John and Carolyn Sczerbinski and her husband Joseph both of Cranston; his brother Stephen Abbate of Hope and five loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10am in Holy Apostles Church, Cranston. Burial will be private. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted.
