88, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday March 20, 2011 with her family by her side. Victoria was born in the Provence of San Lorenzello, Benevento, Italy on January 9th 1923, and was the daughter of the late Armando and Maria (Dorio) Ruggieri (Ruggiero). She returned yearly for 63 years to visit many family and friends. She was a graduate of Cranston High School, Edgewood Business College and The Rhode Island State School of Practical Nursing. She worked as secretary to the Providence Representative of the F.H. Noble Findings Company of Chicago, Illinois in the Industrial Trust Building for 10 years. Her Nursing Practice was as a private duty nurse for the Central Registry, retiring after 43 years. Victoria's greatest pleasure was in helping Soure' Vittimi celebrate the sacraments during her visits to Brusciano Naples Italy. She is survived by 2 nieces, Mary-Elizabeth Ruggiero Perry and her husband James, Karen Ann Ruggiero Hardy and her husband Stephen, 3 nephews, Lawrence Ruggiero and his wife Diane, John Ruggiero, Michael Ruggiero, 3 grand nieces, Angela Marie Perry-Place and Husband Ryan. Elizabeth Ann Perry and Breanna Souza, 5 grand nephews, Nicholas Ruggiero, Andrew Ruggiero, Stephen Hardy , Christopher Hardy and Brian Ruggiero . She was also the sister of the late Lorenzo and Michael Ruggiero. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 11 am in St. Matthew's Church, Elmwood Ave., Cranston. Her burial will be private. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 6-8 pm in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. She was especially proud of her, along with others in raising funds for a new school, convent and van for the students.
