Victoria (Vescera) Vasconcellos Clemente 86, of Paris St. Pawtucket, passed away Thursday June 25, 2009 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice In-Patient Center, in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Vasconcellos and Albert Clemente. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Celestino and Francesca (Spaltro) Vescera. Mrs. Clemente worked for the State of RI, Division of Un-Employment. She was a member of the Italian American War Vets of the United States, and was also a member of the St. Raymond and St. Joseph Churches Leisure Clubs. Victoria is survived by her loving children, Sandra Goddard of Little Compton, Peter Vasconcellos of Woonsocket, Paul Vasconcellos of Cumberland, David Clemente of North Providence, her step-children, Frances Clemente of MA and Joseph Clemente of Narragansett. She was the grandmother of 9 , great grandmother of 4 , and was the sister of Santino Vescera of Johnston , and the late Julia Geremia, Michael,Matteo,Nicholas,Peter, Frank and Grace Veserca, Marie Alessandro and Vincenza Clemente. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:45 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Raymond's Church, North Main St., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday 4-8 pm.
