85, of Bonita Springs, FL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 15, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Carol A. (Millette) Thatcher. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Edwin and Lillian (Davis) Thatcher.
Victor earned his associate’s degree in law enforcement from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI. He then went on to become a police officer for the Warwick Police Department, where he served for twenty years, retiring as Detective.
Besides his wife Carol, Victor is survived by his loving children, Robbin V. Shackleton and her husband Clayton of North Palm Beach, FL, David W. Thatcher and his fiancée Kellie Kocienda of Bonita Springs, FL, the late Michael E. Thatcher, Deborah Torchia and her husband Richard of Wrentham, MA and Susan Vieira and her husband Matthew of North Scituate; grandchildren, Clayton A. Shackleton, Jr., Lindsey S. Nardolillo, Julia R. Shackleton, Justin Vieira and Cara Vieira; great-grandchildren, Roman and Luca Nardolillo.
VISITATION will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday, August 31st from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Inurnment will follow in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
