VICTOR L. SCOTT

82, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer Tuesday May 31, 2011 surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Elaine (Ventriglia) Scott.

Born in North Providence he was the son of the late Joseph Scott and Antoinette (Garipy) Curran. Mr. Scott was previously employed as a silversmith for Gorham Mfg. He was a WW-2 Navy Veteran serving on the USS Robert L. Wilson.

Besides his wife he is survived by his children; Doreen Coleman of Providence, Sandra Javery of Johnston and Dean and his wife Maria Scott of North Providence; his grandchildren Jennifer, Adam, Samantha, Michael and Nicole and his great granddaughter Vanessa.

His funeral will be held on Friday at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church Providence at 10am. Burial, with military honors, will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Thursday 5-8pm.
