VICTOR C. MARTONE

Victor C. Martone 82, of Pavilion Avenue, Cranston, died Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Palma (Cardillo) Martone. They were married for fifty-five years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Espedito and Civita (DiSanto) Martone. Mr. Martone was a machine operator for Calart Company of Providence for over twenty-five years. He also worked in the jewelry industry for several years. Besides his wife he is survived by one brother Anthony W. Martone of Smithfield and several nieces and nephews. Victor was the brother of the late Armando Martone, Louis Martone and Theresa Mero. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements by the Nardolillo Funeral Home.
