82, of Providence, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Alice (Landry) DiProfio. They were married for 58 years.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Thomas and Filomena (Orillo) DiProfio . Victor was a WW-II Army veteran. He worked for the State of RI as a Certifying Officer for many years, retiring in 1985.
He was the devoted father of Donna M. Perry of Cranston, Ronald V. DiProfio of Coventry and Brian V. DiProfio of Providence; loving grandfather of Laura, Daniel and Alicia Marble; and dear brother of Gene Scolavino of Spokane, Washington, Adolph Scolavino of New Mexico, Alfred DiProfio of Wakefield, and the late Edith Marino, Amond Scolavino and Amelio Aliberti.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Church 178 Dexter St., Providence and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
