Venerable Chik Prum

Venerable Chik Prum, 93, of Providence passed away peacefully on November 17, 2023 at his home.

Born in Banteay Meanchey Province, Cambodia, he was a son of the late Bunpoa and Sar (Loun) Prum.

He was the head Buddhist monk at Wat Thormikaram of Rhode Island.

He leaves eight children, Vuthy Prum, Virak Prum, Sophorn Prum, Sophear Prum, Bunmealy Prum, Ben Prum, Pich Prum and Vibol Prum; a sister, Kimhuay Sa; twenty grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday and Saturday from 9am throughout the day at Wat Thormikaram Temple, 178 Hanover Street, Providence.  A prayer service will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2023 from 9-10am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.
