UMBERTO MILANO

94, of Providence, passed away on Friday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Providence. He was the husband of Florence (Mendillo) Milano. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Filomena (Cherella) Milano - Pascone. Umberto was a WW-II Army Air Corp Veteran. He was the owner & operator of Bert's Barber Shop in Providence for over 60 years before retiring. Besides his wife he was the father of Toni Barletta and her husband Raymond of Providence, Umberto Milano and his wife Kathleen of Littleton, CO. and Christine Garafano and her husband Gary of Providence, his grandchildren; Jessica Milano, Raymond Barletta Jr. and Anthony Milano. He was the brother of Filomena Mann of Providence, Antonetta Pascone of Johnston, Raymond Pascone of Johnston and the late Louis A. Milano, Gino Milano, Carmelo Pascone, Domenic Milano and Concetta Foster. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial with military honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Monday 5-8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
